The Take Home “Ideas Journal”:  An important component of our approach is for members to have a place to save their words—in the form of an ideas list, a memory, a reflection, a rambling of thoughts, a draft or a sketch.

“My son loved his 2 days at Scribe Shack in the October holidays. He’s 10 and usually hates to write but thought these workshops were awesome fun. Looking forward to January workshops.”

“Our daughter Ruby loves these workshops” says mum Tamara. “When we found Scribe Shack, she immediately was drawn to the drama, games and small group approach. As a parent I love the fact she is learning at the same time as having fun. It’s really improved her confidence in her writing abilities. To have both the holiday and term workshops is a bonus as well for us working parents”. “It’s really inspired my imagination and given me more confidence”, says Ruby. (April, 2019)
